Ngoc B. Tran, MSPAS, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who has experience with physical and rehabilitation medicine.She was born in a small town in rural Vietnam. She immigrated to the United States with her parents and 3 older brothers when she was just 8 years old. Ngoc always knew from a young age that she wanted to help others through medicine. She attended Clayton State University in Forest Park, GA where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2008. Ngoc spent time shadowing various physicians in her hometown before she was accepted into the physician assistant program at South University in Savannah, GA. During her last year of professional school, Ngoc had a strong interest in musculo-skeletal injuries and orthopedics. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. She is nationally certified through the NCCPA. Shortly after graduating, she started her professional career working with a large personal injury group in Atlanta, GA ordering rehabilitation, imaging, and administering injections for the treatment of pain. Ngoc also has experience working with a clinic that specializes in a non-surgical approach for treatment of pain by use of chiropractors, rehab therapists, and injections.She currently is a member of the AAPA, trained in BLS, and is proficient with trigger point injections, large joint injections, and ultrasound guided injections. In her free time, Ngoc likes to spend quality family time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys exercising, hiking, movies, and good food.
