Dr. Lee was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing a double major in Business Administration and Biology at Emory University, he attended Georgetown University to earn a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics. For medical school he returned to Georgia to attend the Medical College of Georgia. He went on to complete a surgical internship at the University of Colorado in Denver and a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following his residency, Dr. Lee pursued an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai West/St. Luke’s in New York City where he was trained in minimally invasive techniques to treat various chronic pain conditions utilizing X-ray fluoroscopy and ultrasound techniques. He has a special interest in radiofrequency ablations, kyphoplasties and neuromodulation. Dr. Lee’s approach to pain management is simple. He seeks to treat the patient first. He applies a multidisciplinary approach, offering superior pain relief and restoring functional status to improve overall quality of life for the patient. He is excited to be back home in Georgia and looks forward to serving the community he was raised in by implementing the latest advancements in pain management. He has been an involved member in the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), Spine Intervention Society (SIS), American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM) and North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS). In his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, snowboarding, basketball, technology and spending time with family.
